My name is Michael Selvakumar, but since that's a mouthful let's go with Mike Selva :)

I always had a passion for photography from a young age, but I never recognised it. When I got into the wedding industry during my involvement with set styling, I holistically understood photography and how rewarding it is. This resulted in me picking up the camera again.

The reason I would get out of bed to shoot your wedding is simply to see the reaction on your face when I turn the back of the camera and show you that moment I captured from the best day of your life. 

I love being invisible when I cover a wedding and capture those candid moments. I however do capture the "standard" posed shots but I find the magic is in those precious moments when someone is not camera aware. 

I like to keep things simple and make the day more enjoyable for you and your partner, while remembering the importance and the enormous responsibility that I have . After all, I am capturing images that are going to be shared with your grandchildren! 

When I am not shooting weddings, I like to shoot some stunning landscapes and work with models on portrait shoots. This lets me practice my craft and helps me learn.
